Retro 80s! When everything in the club scene was DJs, turntables and vinyl records. It was all analog, nothing was digital.
I treasured going to Tower Records and buying records of my favorite groups, going home and making mix tapes with only the best songs, then slapping that cassette into my car tape deck and heading out for a weekend of clubbing! - which started on Thursday, naturally.
My fondest memories are meeting up with friends and dancing for hours in front of DJs spinning two turntables and a microphone and running up and asking, "what's the name of that song?" Then running out the next day, buying the record and making a whole new mix tape!
Of course, an evening of clubbing wouldn't be complete without all of us piling into Denny's for breakfast at four o'clock in the morning!
That's retro, that's 80s, that's ANALOG.
